Ling-Yen Jones- Bellevue Festival of the ArtsCome and Join Ling-Yen and 249 other artist in Bellevue, WA to share wonderful handmade art works from jewelry, ceramics, photography, painting and sculpture. Dorise Ford- Showing at The Big Island Art FarmMy work is being shown at this great gallery in Captain Cook, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The gallery is the inspriation of Kathleen Dumphy and anyone in the area will be in for a treat if you stop by and introduce yourself to her. She creates wonderful pieces and is a supporter of local artist. Also showing there Willa Marten's Aunties, delightful coconut head creations who's titles will have you laughing. Check out the work of Judy Rodman and Melany Keiver too. Come visit and feel the Aloha spirit surround you. The exhibit will be shown from 01/01/2009 to 12/31/2009 at Big Island Art Farm.

Plein Air Schedule- FreeWish we had a schedule for the intrepid plein air painters. Ah well. No fee. No instructor. Lots of camaraderie. Every Monday at 10am. but where, oh, where? |
Call for Artists- Paint Out! at the Botanical GardensThe Arts Council of Mendocino County and Mendocino Botanical Gardens are jointly sponsoring a plein air paintout at the gardens on Saturday, October 10, 2009. You might have heard about these gardens because they are world class. They are at the south end of Fort Bragg and run from Highway 1 to the ocean. Artists can set up anywhere in the gardens for this paintout. The entry fee will be $20. Top prize will be at least $250, then $125 for second and $50 for third. Paintings may be sold at the end of the day with 75% to the artists and 25% split by the Botanical Gardens and the Arts Council. Email bsjones@hughes.net to tell us you are interested and we will put you on the list to receive more information in time to enroll for this event. |

![]() Artist's Collective in Elk- Join a great gallery!The Artist's Collective is a wonderful gallery in the town of Elk, CA between Queenies Restaurant and the Elk Post Office, east side of Hwy1. Several NCAG members show their art there: Kathy Edelbrock, Tom Eckles, Jenny Henderson, Jim Vickery and Bruce Jones. The Gallery has 15 artists now and is inviting more artists to participate.
